Bottrills Transport adds to team and fleet
January 2021 seemed to go in a blink of an eye …and here we are in February still in lockdown and with a cold weather front heading our way.
However, at Bottrills Transport Ltd it’s not all bad news.
We are delighted to be putting our first truck on the road. A DAF FTG XF-530, Euro 6, 44 tonne, 6×2 chassis cab with the Bottrills name proudly emblazoned across the front. The ex DAF demo vehicle is loaded with all the best extras. A real solid and reliable truck to head up the fleet.
This addition also brings 2 new people to the team. Our regular day driver Gavin has taken over the controls the new DAF for the day deliveries which means a new day driver, Tim Cooper, who takes over in the Renault Master citiLoader. Plus, we will shortly be welcoming a driver to do the nightly runs from our depot in Terminus road to the Pall-Ex hub in Coalville Leicester.
Joe Parker, Director, and Karl Hodder Operations Manager have been keen to get a truck on the road for some time.
The opportunity to buy this unique silver 25-year anniversary truck, complete with Union Jack graphics, was just too good to miss.
“We were looking for something that would stand out from the crowd as well as being a practical answer for the company needs” says Joe Parker.
Karl Hodder added “After being with Bottrills for 6 months and seeing the progression we have made the time was right to have our own vehicles”.

“The Bottrills branded trailer will be here shortly and along with the rest of the team at Bottrills Transport we will be immensely proud to see it set out on its first trip locally during the day and at night to the Pall-Ex hub in Coalville”.
